GARY FAYE YSABEL LEMAY JAKE FISCHER
At the close of the day, the afternoon melts into the early edge of night - the evening time. The sun passes beyond the horizon enough that the light is softened and there are no defined shadows. Then slowly darkness drops over the landscape; two hours or more after sunset.
Here in the work of three artists, is the slippage of time from late afternoon until night. Ysabel Lemay’s photo collage work captures the dream-like state just prior to twilight; Gary Faye's photos are always shot well after the sun has passed the horizon; and Jake Fischer's paintings of light in the darkness.
