Biography
Gary Faye has been represented at SMINK for more than 20 years. His work speaks well with the clean lines of the contemporary furniture.
In the mid 70s Gary attended what proved to be 2 life changing workshops with Ansel Adams. Two years later, already committed to an art degree, he was invited to be an assistant at the next two June sessions. Those influences followed him through the next 30 years as a fine art and commercial photographer. Landscape and still life work evolved through those decades and included teaching as well as freelance and self assignment work.
Today, Gary continues expanding his repretoire into still life and reaching beyond his black and white landscapes into the beautiful hues of the Southwest; Big Bend and the Salton Sea. He currently lives in Southern California and enjoys traveling.
