White

By Minotti

White, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti, seems to be a perfect balance of shapes and sizes, using a repetitive overlapping of horizontal lines emphasized by the use of several different materials.  The base of the sofa can be upholstered in fabric, leather, or saddle-hide.  The seat backs, cushions and tray tops are placed on the base and create an interplay of shapes and alternating positive and negative spaces.  The sofa is suspended above the ground by very slender feet in pewter colored die-cast aluminum, a Minotti exclusive design.  The padded cushions are enhanced by a deeper layer of goose down, making them luxuriously soft and creating a very pleasant contrast to the sleek formality of the sofa's base.  The tray tops can be added in place of the armrest or along the back, making it possible to create extremely unique compositions.  The trays are saddle-hide covered and available in mud, tobacco, dark brown or black; or in glossy lacquer sand or granite.
